Description
The NACE standard (TMO 194-2004) used for the detection of General Heterotrophic Bacteria (GHB). This media will turn turbid or have biomass if GHB is detected.
False Positive: If turbidity appears immediately upon inoculation in the first or second vial(s) than these vials should be counted as a false positive. The turbidity in the vials is most likely due to other constituents in the sample and not biogenic activity.
Physical Characteristics: Clear with a slight yellow color.
