Rapid APB Culture

The Acid Producing Bacteria (APB) Rapid Culture Test Kit is a quick and easy test for the detection of Acid Producing Bacteria. This test has been designed for easy use in the field or without a proper lab setup. This rapid testing system contains 10 vials of culture media specifically formulated to promote the growth of Acid Producing Bacteria. As acid producing bacteria grow the pH of the sample will drop causing a color change in the vial from red to yellow. While a change in color indicates the presence of APB’s, the time in days it takes to turn indicates the perceived strength. The time lag, the length of time it take for the color to change, shows the strength or estimated bacterial count of the acid producing bacteria present.
